Another bright, warm day in Chicago. I am beginning to think this winter thing is all a myth to keep the place from getting too crowded. (However, to be on the safe side, I have purchased real true proper snow boots.)

So, temporarily DVR-less, I had to choose between "The Vampire Diaries" and "Bones" tonight, and somewhat to my surprise, TVD won, mostly b/c I suspected the plot would progress tonight on that one, while "Bones" looked mostly just cute. 1) I am in Chicago, safe and sound and sheltered by taraljc, and all this is of the good. My stuff is apparently not going to get here until the middle of next week, which is of the bad, but it will all come out in the wash. I was in show choir. I had the sequin and taffeta dresses that were de rigeur at the time. I know how to do a starburst. I have thrown confetti and worn white gloves while singing "Happy Feet." So I am sort of in the bulls-eye of the potential audience for "Glee." ( review, neither laudatory nor condemning )
